Teemu Pukki has a great start in the Premier League. His performance continued on Saturday as well, here he has another goal and this time the goal was against Chelsea. This had brought him in comparison with top Premier League players like Adrian Mutu, Michael Ricketts, Dalian Atkinson, etc.
On Saturday, Teemu Pukki achieved a
reward, the reward of scoring goals in each of the first three Premier League
that he played. He has become the 10th player to do so following the
path of Adrain Mutu and Diego Costa. However, strike of Pukki couldn’t bring a
win to his team at Carrow Road. Pukki is
now 29-year-old and he played impressive in the game. He got strangled in the
30th minute of clash of Norwich City with the Blues, the high effort
of player wriggle through Kepa Arrizabalaga, the goalkeeper.
Pukki had a great time in England and
he has a wonderful beginning of the game in the English top flight, they
defeated Liverpool on the opening day and then having a hat-trick opposite
Newcastle United in the first home outing of Norwich.
However, the goal of the Blues came in a losing reason. This is because, Norwich went down to 3-2 score in the early kick-off. On the other hand, Pavel Pogrebnyak was the only other player who scored five goals in first three appearances.
Adrian Mutu and Diego Costa both players managed four in three games at the beginning of their career with Chelsea. The feat was also achieved by Brian Deane from Sheffield United, Michu from Swansea, Mick Quinn from Coventry City and Manolo Gabbiadini from Southampton. Dalian Atkinson from Aston Villa and Michael Ricketts from Bolton Wanderers also enjoyed this time. Both of them played wonderfully and was able to score three times in three games they appeared in.
