Romanian star Adrian Mutu spent around a year with Italian Serie A giants Inter Milan before he was sold to fellow Italian team Hellas Verona. At Inter Milan, Mutu scored once in ten league games.
Hellas Verona paid around €4m to secure the signing of Adrian Mutu from the Nerazurri during the summer’s transfer window in 2000 though they didn’t have complete ownership. Mutu had a lot of good players alongside him while he was at Verona. Quality players such as Massimo Oddo, Albert Gilardino and Mauro Camoranesi were his teammates at Hellas Verona. Camoranesi became a teammate of Mutu again during his time at Juventus, while Gilardino was also his teammate again at Fiorentina.
